Teaching Strategies

group projects
presentations
studying figurative language and plays on words in order to write limericks, joke books, humerous stories
graphic organizers for lectures
content reading to clarify difficult concepts

An advanced student may still have gaps in specialized areas. For example, a student might feel out of place in certain culturally embedded situations such as during holidays. The students can easily understand once the holiday is explained to them.
